Lanwan Mansion: A Dreamy Sales Center

An Artistic and Whimsical Space Inspired by Fairy Tales

At first glance, the Lanwan Mansion sales center exudes a sense of simplicity and beauty. However, upon closer observation, the space reveals a deeper narrative, evoking a feeling of loneliness in modern urban life. The combination of macaron-colored fairy tale figures and polygonal creature abstractions creates a whimsical and dreamy atmosphere, while the cloud installations add a touch of fashion and artistry.

The interior of the sales center features various artistic installations that enhance the overall aesthetic. A transparent and colorful polyhedral acrylic sculpture stands out at the corner, reflecting dream-like colors and echoing the color palette of the sand table. The negotiation area is adorned with a rainbow-like water bar background wall, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere. The use of pure white tables and chairs with feather decorations adds a sense of lightness and brightness to the space.

The Lanwan Mansion sales center also includes a self-service water bar, providing a space for public communication and activities. The elegant and fashionable design of the slender metal lines and marble bar creates a welcoming and sophisticated ambiance. In the VIP room, a mint green background wall complements the pure white leather sofa, while a pink single sofa adds a touch of softness. The space exudes freshness and nature, with the "rhino friend" in the "Dream of Fairy Tale" installation symbolizing sincere and simple companionship.

The design of the Lanwan Mansion sales center aims to provide visitors with a temporary escape from the stresses of life. Inspired by the world of fairy tales, this project offers a fantasy-filled environment where imagination can roam free. The combination of art, design, and cultural influences creates a unique and captivating experience for visitors.

The Lanwan Mansion sales center, designed by Grace Kwai, was completed in May 2020 in Yangzhou, China. It has received recognition for its outstanding design, winning the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award acknowledges the creativity and resourcefulness of the design, which incorporates best practices in art, science, design, and technology, ultimately contributing to an improved quality of life.
